SentientIQ, Inc. TheSeeRM

In a dealership's page source

You found our script.

SentientIQ makes TheSeeRM, software for retail dealerships. This script runs on the websites of the dealerships we work for, and it works for them. This is what it does, and what it never does.

What it does

For the dealership whose site you are on.

  • Notices how a visit goes: the pages and vehicles you view, your mouse movements, scrolling and clicks, and where the visit came from.
  • Recognizes a returning visitor with a cookie and a browser fingerprint, and uses your IP address for an approximate city and to tell people from bots.
  • Runs the dealership's chat. What you write is recorded and the replies are written by AI. Your name, email or phone number is collected only if you type it there.
  • If the dealership runs retargeting ads, shares the IP address of visitors who viewed its inventory with our advertising partner, so that dealership's ads can reach them on other sites and on connected TV.

What it never does

On any site.

  • Sell your personal information.
  • Track what you do on unrelated websites.
  • Read forms outside the chat, or capture payment or finance-application fields.
  • Know your precise location.
  • Share names, emails, phone numbers or conversations for advertising.

Your choices

  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or decline analytics in the site's cookie banner. The analytics then don't run, and you are left out of retargeting.
  • Ask us to delete what we hold about you. The data deletion page explains how.
  • Read every detail in our privacy policy, including your rights in California and Europe.
